TrailFest2 – Building the Dream

TrailFest 2016

Wahoo! We’re back! After a successful first festival in 2015 we’re bringing more trailrunning inspiration to Central Scotland on Sat 15th October.

This year’s event is themed; ‘Building the Dream’ – because we’re celebrating everyone who pushes their limits, challenges their boundaries, and makes the impossible, possible, through running. Our own dream is a Trail Running festival that’s inclusive, exciting and energising for everyone who loves to run and dares to dream.

We’ve kept the best bits from 2015 and fused them with some new elements, including THE MUGDOCK MILE – a fast, furious sprint to the line to see who will be crowned King and Queen of the Mile.

The programme has evolved to focus on skills in the morning followed by inspiration and advice in the afternoon in the theatre.

We’ll round off the day with a social BBQ where we can chat trails with friends old and new.

We’re designing the programme and filling the lineup, so keep an eye out for announcements, but the day is already looking packed with experts, elites, expertise and inspiration.Trail shoes in mud

Early Bird tickets are available now for £35 until 31st Aug. Beat the price increase and book soon. Only full price tickets will be available from 1st Sept priced at £45.

If you can’t wait until October, we’re holding free monthly social runs at Mugdock. They take place on the 2nd Sunday of every month at 10am, doing roughly 5km. Sign up on Eventbrite so we have an idea of numbers.

We look forward to seeing on the trails soon.
