Spring Season 2019

Longer days = more time to play! We have lots of runs to keep you going into summer and will support your trailrunning whether you are a beginner on our INTRORuns or are a seasoned trailrunner on our ‘Gnarly’ RunLONGER adventures. We’re looking forward to sharing some lighter and brighter trail time with you this Spring!

Run Categories
  • INTRORun – beginner group trailruns of 3-5km
  • NIGHTRun – group trailruns exploring the trails with headtorches.
  • RunSOCIAL – social trailruns of 5km & 10km in fun, relaxed groups. 
  • TRAILRun – daylight trailruns of 5km & 10km.
  • RunMORNING – start the day with a fast trail run.
  • RunLONGER/RunHIGHER – going further, higher and into the wilds.
Run Levels
  • Relaxed: group runs at an easy pace with plenty of stops. Perfect if you’re new to trailrunning and want to build confidence and skills as well as fitness on trails. All abilities welcome.
  • Progressive – group runs at a steady pace with stops – enough to re-group and keep things social. Perfect if you’re looking to increase your fitness and ready to up your distance from 5km.
  • Speedy: faster group runs with only a few stops. Perfect if you’re already comfortable over the run distance and want to improve speed and fitness.
  • Gnarly: big runs going longer and higher in wilder places. Experienced trailrunners only. Perfect if you want to build skills and knowledge to be able to go into the wilds on your own.

If you’re unsure of your own level, we suggest you start with a Relaxed 5km run to see how you find it.

Trail Training

  • RunFIT with Hunterfit UK. Every Monday and Tuesday night in Bearsden, Hunterfit UK takes strength and conditioning classes for runners in the HunterFit studio. These are very popular, so if you’re interested, contact HunterFit UK to check availability.

 


The Mugdock Mile

The Mugdock Mile is a marked trail race route within Mugdock Country Park with a cheeky, uphill finish. We will advertise the next Mugdock Mile Race here and on our social channels.
